Now that the Judicial issue is over with until the Supreme Court has a vacancy, the issue has moved to stem cell research. South Korea recently successfully cloned a human being and yet we are still trying to impose Dark Ages religion onto science.

The teaching of evolution is under attack, so we can look forward to generations of "sceintists" who will spend their time trying to Divine the Will of God rather than help human suffering in the world. The right wing claims now that Evolution is not a fact but a Theory, ovelooking the point that in the world of Science, a Theory is a readily-accepted and PROVEN thing. I suppose that since Gravity is only a Theory that we are all here on the ground because we are too stupid to know that we can fly.

Stem cells offer the possibilities to cure many diseases and correct many medical conditions, too numerous to mention here. Yet the right-wing refuses to allow the research to take place. Why?

I remember reading that the best way to get to the truth was to "follow the money". If we apply that to stem cell research we find that pharmaceutical companies which conspire to keep us addicted to medications that mask symptoms rather than find cures have the perfect reason to convince people that stem cell research is not "The Way that God Wants". If diseases were cured, where would all the money come from for the drug companies? They are completely on board with the right-wing agenda since it equals PROFITS and not CURES.
